Lancashire Quakers – Diary of Forthcoming Events

September 15th Garstang, 2.00p. - 4.00pm Heritage Day: The Meeting House will be open from 2pm, with tea and cakes for visitors. There will be a guided Quaker-themed walk from 2pm to 3.30pm. All are welcome.
October 3rd Garstang, 7.00pm. Quaker Week: come to experience, and learn about some different forms of Quaker worship from around the world. Free event, donations welcome. Part of national Quaker Week. Please bring a torch as the cobbled access lane is unlit.

Regular events

2nd and 4th Sunday of the month Yealand Children's and Young People's Meeting
2nd Thursday Yealand, 10.00 am – 12.30, Morning Experiment with Light group. More information about Experiment with Light can be found here.
4th Thursday Swathmore Hall, 11.00 am - 1.00 pm, Extended Meeting for Worship, followed by soup lunch. In the Great Hall, all welcome and Friends can join the meeting ant any time during the two hours.
Last Tuesday Yealand, 10.30-11.30 am, Prayer group for Healing and Wholeness in old school
2nd Wednesday - March - May & July Lancaster, 7.30-8.30 pm, Prayer group, Porch room
Last Friday of month No Faith in Fracking: Friends gather at the fracking site near Blackpool for an hour of silent worship and witness. See: Quakers against Fracking October #NoFaithinFracking. For further information, directions, car shares etc email Lyndy
